There are weddings that feel like a perfect meeting of places, people and energy — and Èireann and Devins’ day at the beautiful Drenagh Estate was exactly that. A true Canada-meets-Ireland celebration, filled with warmth, laughter and an effortless sense of togetherness that stayed with us long after the last song played.

From the moment we arrived, the tone was set. Calm, joyful, and completely grounded in what mattered most — celebrating with the people they love. Drenagh Estate was the dreamiest backdrop for it all; elegant yet relaxed, with sprawling grounds that invite guests to wander, chat and truly soak up the day.

The ceremony was led by the wonderful Chloe Cairns, and it was heartfelt in the best possible way. Personal, sincere and full of meaning, it felt less like a performance and more like a moment everyone was genuinely part of. There were smiles, tears, and that quiet magic that happens when two people are completely present with each other.

Èireann looked incredible in her dress from SJP Bridal — modern, timeless and so her. Nothing felt overstyled or forced; she carried herself with such ease, and it showed in every moment. Devins matched that same relaxed confidence, and together they brought such a natural energy to the day — the kind that makes our job feel very easy.

The spaces at Drenagh were beautifully transformed by The Wedding Room NI, who styled everything with such care and intention. The décor elevated the venue while still letting its character shine, striking that perfect balance between refined and welcoming. Every detail felt thoughtful without ever feeling overdone — exactly how a wedding should feel.

As the day unfolded, guests spilled out onto the lawns, cocktails in hand, making the most of the long summer light. Kings & Queens Event Hire brought the fun with lawn games that had everyone laughing, competing and fully leaning into the relaxed pace of the day. It was one of those afternoons where time seems to slow just enough to enjoy every conversation.

Meanwhile, Jo Knight captured it all so beautifully on video, documenting not just how the day looked, but how it felt. From quiet in-between moments to full-on celebrations, it’s the kind of film that will bring them straight back to the emotion of the day for years to come.

As the evening rolled in, guests made their way to The Wandering Fox photobooth — always a crowd favourite — creating memories that were fun, unfiltered and full of personality. And then there was the cake. A total showstopper by Bambi & Bear, almost too pretty to cut… but definitely enjoyed once it was.

Èireann and Devins’ wedding was a beautiful reminder of what makes days like this so special. No rushing, no pressure — just love, connection and a celebration that felt completely true to them. A meeting of two worlds, brought together in one incredible place, and we feel so lucky to have been there to tell their story.
