Set amongst the lush woodlands and peaceful grounds of this historic estate, their day was a perfect blend of personality, colour and heartfelt detail — the kind of wedding that reminds us why we adore capturing stories just as they unfold.

A Burst of Colour & Personality

From the moment we arrived, their vision for a relaxed and joy-filled day was clear. The beautiful décor brought the rooms of Beech Hill to life — bright, bold tones mixed with soft touches, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, inviting and unmistakably “them.” Everywhere you looked, there was something meaningful, crafted or chosen with intention.

Maisie, Karen’s godmother bridesmaid

One of the true stars of the day was Maisie — Karen’s god mother and the most effortlessly iconic bridesmaid we’ve ever met. Dressed in her stunning blue gown, she brought an energy and charm that lifted the entire morning. Guests couldn’t help but smile every time she floated through the room, and she added a wonderful sense of character to the wedding party photographs.

Handmade Napkins & Thoughtful Touches

Karen and Stephen poured their hearts into creating a celebration full of personal touches. Handmade napkins, lovingly stitched by Karen herself, adorned the tables and perfectly complemented their vibrant theme. Every detail had a story behind it — the kind that makes a wedding feel intimate, connected and deeply reflective of the couple at its centre.

Unstaged, Unposed, Wonderfully Real

What we loved most about their wedding was how naturally everything unfolded. There were no forced poses, no rigid timelines and no staged shots. Karen and Stephen wanted their day documented exactly as it happened — real moments, real emotion, real connection.
We blended quietly into the background, capturing the laughter, the layered colours, the quick hand squeezes, the teary smiles, and all the in-between moments that truly tell the story of a wedding day.
